Last week, Dronedeploy announced nationwide approval for the visual line, or BVLOS, an inspection operation for critical infrastructure. The release of the US Federal Aviation Administration allows the company customers legally and the deployment and monitoring of autonomous donations.

Part 108 is a proposed FAA regulation that would standardize BVLOS operations for commercial drones. In 2024, the FAA Reautorization Act ordered the creation of the Apart 108 rule to solve BVLOS operations. Until part 108 is released, operators 107 Drone may register for surrender to the case by case.
FAA approval applies to DRONEDEPLOY operated flights, for example, when customers require data via the company service on request. Approval fees that are currently not covered by DRONEDEPLOY customers. However, it offers regulatory services to facilitate customers who seek to obtain BVLOS approval.
